Interior
This all-electric new SUV offers the premium amenities you've come to expect from Chevy. For instance, you can choose a model with customizable ambient interior lighting, heated front seats and steering wheel, leather-trimmed seating and a powerful automatic climate control system. It also provides Hillsboro drivers with up to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folding and seating for five.
Exterior
Sleek lines across the Equinox EV's body make it stand out, and the walk-up lighting automatically comes on when you approach the SUV. While the base edition has 19-inch wheels, Chevy offers 20-inch and 21-inch wheels on a few of the other trims. Some of the higher trims also give you front and rear lighting animations to really set you apart from the crowd.
Performance
This new Chevy comes with an electric powertrain that offers 210 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque. You can also upgrade to an electric powertrain that produces 290 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. All trim levels come with standard front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. The new Equinox EV can drive up to 300 miles on a full battery. When you need to stop to charge, it can take as little as 10 minutes to get 70 miles worth of charge when you use a DC Fast Charging station.
Technology
You can access features like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ on a beautiful 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a model with a 17.7-inch touchscreen display, giving you a great view of your entertainment, GPS navigation, incoming messages and so much more. With the MyChevy app, the Equinox EV lets you plan an upcoming trip and send directions to the car from your phone. Chevy also offers access to Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous driving system that works on over 200,000 miles of roads in the United States and Canada.
Safety
All the safety features you love on the Equinox come standard on the EV. This means that you'll have the full Chevy Safety Assist suite, which includes systems like Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Front Pedestrian Braking, Forward Collision Alert and Following Distance Indicator. Portland, OR drivers will also find systems like Blind Zone Steering Assist, Rear Park Assist, Safety Alert Seat and Reverse Automatic Braking in the Equinox EV. The Equinox EV also offers a digital rearview mirror, HD Surround Vision 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise control.
